GBM has applied to the Town of Canandaigua (ToC) for Incentive Zoning (IZ). Under IZ, GBM proposes amenities to the ToC in exchange for a change in zoning that will allow GBM to provide new benefits to you and your community.
What amenities has GBM proposed to the ToC?
A Much Safer West Lake Rd (WLR)
No Boats/trailers parked on WLR to improve visibility for pedestrians and drivers
An "Active Shoulder" for walkers, runners, and bikers on WLR - one of a kind for WLR!
EVERYONE Can Access the Lake
60' of Lake frontage dedicated for public fishing, picnicking, and scenic viewing
10 Public Boat Slips available for transient use
Access to the Canandaigua Lake Water Trail for Kayaks, Canoes, SUP
Way better Parking - A whopping 115 parking spaces on the GBM west hill
Plus...
Public Restrooms open 24/7
Trails throughout, coordinating trail access with the ToC and other private landowners
A reduction of the square footage occupied by slips and mooring buoys
